This painting was inspired by my beautiful youngest daughter. She gave me the idea, and I took it a step further, and made it my own by making it my story. I love her idea of leaving beauty behind her as she deals with the toughness of this world. I just really resonated with it with my journey because I have left behind friends, family independence, the ability to travel, and do what I need to do for myself that no longer is my reality. And this painting is very emotional, showing the devastation that I have been through on my journey.
