Poinsettia dream

Every Christmas my mother would buy a poinsettia for our home and I enjoyed the red plant realizing that it wasn’t a flower that it was the actual plant that was red. I really thought it was magical and I had a few that I had planted a few years back that lived through a drought in a very cold winter, and I was so impressed with its durability. I wanted to honor my mother by painting this poinsettia that has become very dear to my heart . It will cheer up any room.
