I made this painting with the idea of feeling very small in this very large world sometimes troubling, but this painting, I was trying to capture serenity with the calm waters in the calm sky, and a little boat, just floating out in the middle, reminding me of the sailing boat my dad taught me to use when I was a little girl. The lighthouse always means joy in my heart going towards the light always staying positive. This painting really speaks to my soul. Enjoy.
